My wife and I were leaving...

My wife and I were leaving the Red Sox game (just ended) to join the rest of her family in front of the Lennox hotel to cheer on her aunt. Travelling was slow as the crowd was at least 10 -15 people deep. We were in front of Lord and Taylor when the first bomb went off. When the second one went off 10 seconds later I immediately feared for my life.…

I was with my younger brother about to cross to meet our frien who had finished at mcgrevys bar. We were trying to use the bathroom in the Lenox hotel when we were told we could, decided to walk around the finish and just head to mcgrevys. An hour before the explosions, I was standing in front of the Lenox Hotel, watching my brother cross the finish line for the 19th time. It shook the buildings around us, and I knew it was closer than the first had been. I…

We had walked down the alley...

We had walked down the alley next to the Lenox, and the crowd was 5 people deep. Only pass holders were allowed to the east, so we stayed there and watched the runners. Five minutes later we heard, felt and smelled the blasts. We retreated down the alley stopping to help up a woman who had fallen and would have been trampled.

My friends and I were out...

My friends and I were out to cheer on Joey McIntyre and had been standing across the street from the second blast. It was only by sheer luck I even saw him as he had changed clothes and we weren't sure what to look for. we yelled and cheered and he waved. Then we stepped back so others could move up and cheer on their runners. We decided to go to…
