Our Marathon Lesson Plan for Early Elementary (1-3)

The process of working with words established in the work of others asks students to engage with the craft of writing without the challenge of facing a blank slate. Students will practice literacy, writing, and speaking and listening skills from their engagement with acrostic poems related to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
